The Sun, The Moon and the Boy by Jesus Garcia

This story was created by a youth in one of our programs!

There was once a boy, a boy who loved the sun. He thought that the sun was his mother. He never had a mother before. He never knew his mother. He always saw other boys with their mothers. He always wondered if he had a mom. At night, when the sky is full of stars and a big moon on the spot, he thinks that’s his father. He was always talking to the moon and asking for advice. Then, suddenly, he heard a tremendous voice. It sounded like a mom with knowledge and strength. The boy heard an unexplainable force. The voice said “One day, one special day, you will be with your father and mother. ”

The boy asked “How am I going to be able to meet my parents?”

The father said “You will go to sleep and then you will meet us.” So then, the next day, the boy went to sleep. He never work up again, but for the first time, he was his father and his mother. Both his father and mother said “You are now a star and an angel.” Now he has a mother and a father. He’s happy for the first time.

So the next time you see an eclipse, that’s the father, mother and boy living happily ever after. The moral of the story is: Be nice to your parents, enjoy them while they are still alive, and most importantly, treasure them with love and affection.
